Working With Banister Tool

What We Do

Banister Tool is a contract manufacturing company specializing in the production of non-active medical devices – primarily medical instruments, implants, and medical apparatuses to customer specification. We do not have a design facility, but we will assist your endeavors by sharing our manufacturing expertise. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us.

How to Initiate the Process for Placing Contracts

From the customer’s initial Request for Quotation (RFQ), to the delivery of the requested product, we have attempted to make working with Banister as versatile, user friendly and straight forward as possible. We will accept a RFQ via e-mail, fax, telephone, in person or U.S. mail. You can download print files and specifications generated by almost any type of electronic format. The files we most frequently work with are CadKey, SolidWorks, AutoCad, Pro/E, Parasolid, Iges, DFX, VDA, Rhino 3D and ASCII.

RFQ Process

After receipt of your RFQ and/or specifications, our contracts department will promptly prepare a quotation that is in compliance with your request and return it to you for your consideration. If the quotation needs any clarification or further discussion, please feel free to contact us about any issue or subject.

Placing a Purchase Order

You may submit a purchase order to Banister Tool by fax (512-258-1926), by e-mail (purchasing@banistertool.com) or by U.S. mail sent to:

Follow-up Procedure

After we have received your purchase order, you will be sent an Order Acknowledgement and will be assigned a contact person who will monitor the progress of your project. If you have any questions or issues about your project please feel free to contact this person.
